This connects under the main extruder head and heats up to 260 degrees, includes nozzle. Highly recommended to have a spare one.
Since the UP 3D Printers first started production, they have come out with 3 different types of extruder blocks from versions 1 to 3. Versions 1 & 2 have been discontinued. We only supply v3 extruder blocks and these have an 8mm nozzle and comes in either brass or stainless.
You can identify the version of your extruder assembly by the features below;
- v1 has a 6mm brass nozzle with a coloumn size of 4x6mm
- v2 has a 6mm brass nozzle with a coloumn size of 4x6mm
- v3 has a 8mm steel/brass nozzle with a coloumn size of 4x5mm
The v3 extruder blocks are suitable for UP Mini, UP Plus 1, UP Plus 2 and UP Box 3D Printers. However you do need to check that v3 extruder block is compatible with your printers heatsink.
If you have a v2 heatsink, you'll need to purchase a v3 heatsink.
