Why HP decided to use 3D printers in supply chain ?

HP are implementing 3D Printing within the different businesses inside of our company, thanks to a partnership between supply chain & 3D printing business unit. This shows/proves that HP believe in our own technology, in the power of transforming the manufacturing industry.

The critical players driving this transformation have essentially been HP’s Supply Chain and HP’s 3D Printing Business.

Both have a lot to gain:

  • On one hand, HP Supply Chain is interested in adopting 3D printing with HP Multi Jet Fusion - with a view to unleashing all the potential benefits of Industry 4.0.
  • On the other hand, HP’s 3D Printing Business has a keen interest in learning as much as possible from our own experiences within HP, in order to help our customers transform their businesses as well.
