Our 3D printers can run a variety of materials for direct casting, hot rubber, and silicone molding. There are no limits to geometric complexity as long as the item has been designed in a 3D CAD program and may be exported as an STL file. Our 3D printers are delivered and installed with all the relevant software to enable automatic support generation and perfect model production. Resolution and surface finish remains constant over the entire build area due to patented technology based on voxelisation.

Utilizing a built in Ethernet interface, the Desktop machines can easily connect directly to a PC workstation or be integrated into a network. The Desktop machines have an embedded PC, allowing the system to work independently from the pre-processing workstation. The machine can be remotely monitored from any computer on the network using the communication software from the supplied software suite. Any STL data format can be easily imported using the software suite.

EnvisionTEC’s Desktop Digital Shell Plus (DDSP) & Mini DDSP Plus 3D Printers are low cost, easy maintenance and user friendly decentralized rapid manufacturing system for hearing aid applications. Using state-of-the-art Digital Light Processing (DLP) from Texas Instruments, the DDSP System can produce up to 13-15 ear shells or ear molds in 2-3 hours per batch of production cycle. The DDSP System can use a variety of biocompatible 3D printer materials from transparent to opaque and skin colours.
